About Our Premium Maca Powder
Harvested in August 2013, our Premium Maca powder is amazingly fresh and potent. Instead of being sundried after harvest, the fresh roots are immediately cleaned in a citrus solution, ground into a pulp and low temp dried (below 110F) to produce a powder with higher levels of many nutrients including glucosinolates. Our premium Maca has 1.4% glucosinolate content, which makes it more effective in overall hormone balance.
Premium Maca contains a combination of about 40% Cream, 30% Red and 30% Black Maca roots. This provides a broad based range of benefits and makes Premium Maca an excellent all-purpose Maca for both Men and Women.
