BUFFERED C is formulated using the highest-purity ascorbic acid powder (extracted from a non-corn antigen source) plus mineral buffering compounds of potassium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, magnesium oxide, and zinc carbonate. This buffered (to a pH of 5.0) and fully-reduced product is rapidly and effectively assimilated by the body, and eliminates the acid buildup that can occur when taking ascorbic acid forms of Vitamin C.
